Include or exclude clearly
A roof quote should say whether gutters, downpipes, fascia, eaves damage and stormwater connections are included. “Make good” wording should be defined.
Do not mix incompatible materials
Roofing, flashings, gutters and fasteners should be selected with material compatibility in mind to reduce corrosion risks.
